Class XI Student Wins Gold Medal at Indian Space Science Olympiad 2024
Divij Gupta, a Class XI student and resident of Pushpanjali Enclave, Pitampura, Delhi, has brought pride to the city by securing the first rank at the prestigious Indian Space Science Olympiad 2024. Divij, who is the grandson of Mr. Dharampal Aggarwal, was awarded the Gold Medal, a Certificate of Excellence, and the Grand Prize of a Newtonian Telescope for his outstanding achievement.
The award was presented by Dr. Umamaheshwaran, a distinguished scientist at ISRO and former Director of the Human Space Flight Centre, during a grand ceremony held at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, on December 29, 2024.
The Indian Space Science Olympiad is a highly competitive event that tests students’ knowledge and problem-solving skills in astrophysics, space science, and related disciplines.
